Rent Ending
Completely off the subject, but something that we find enjoyable nonetheless:
My wife and I went to New York City for our honeymoon three years ago and since then find the time to spend at least one, sometimes two weekends in the Big Apple on a yearly basis. No matter the season (we’ve made sure to visit in each season sans summer, when it is too hot), we always stay in Time Square at a Four Star hotel in the heard of Broadway and catch lots of shows in the process (see below). One of those shows, Rent is ending on June 1 after nearly eleven years in business. For those that haven’t seen the show, I suggest you figure out a way in the next three months to see the show at the Nederlander Theatre before its too late. This show about end-of-the-century singletons struggling through life is simply terrific. I’ve seen the show three times already (one of those times on Broadway), and in May, my wife and I will trek to the Nederlander one more time to see it again. Like we said: see this show; you will love it.
Some of our favorite Broadway shows:
Wicked
Rent
The Lion King
The Phantom of the Opera

Celebrity Solstice Finds another Sistercruise
It was just announced that Celebrity – part of the Royal Caribbean umbrella – has ordered the fifth of its new Solstice class ships. The first of the 122,000-ton class cruise ships, Celebrity Solstice, will be delivered this fall with weekly cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale starting in December, with sister ships being released yearly thereafter through 2012. Meyer Werft, the German builder is charged with the task of building what will be the largest class of ships thus far for Celebrity. The Celebrity Solstice and her sister ships will each carry 2,850 passengers, with nearly 90 percent of those staterooms being outside and 90 percent of those with private verandas.

Hello world!

We at RoyalCaribbeanNow.com has made an important decision about our site:
For some time, we have agonized over the inevitable: our site was just like many other (and better!) travel sites . Therefore, from now on, this site will be for one purpose only: telling you why we love cruising and letting you know about our future cruising plans, plain and simple. Enjoy and come back often to see what develops!!
